The brooch is marked 'G. G.' for Gustav Gaudernack, and '925S .' for sterling silver, as well as 'N.M.' which is a Norwegian mark 'Norskt Mönster' meaning 'Norwegian pattern', referring to the fact that the silver piece is of Norwegian origin.
